In
handwriting analysis there are three zones in the writing: the middle that deals with the
here and now: the upper that deals with ideals, hopes, dreams, imagination and
aspirations: and the lower that deals with sexual energy, athleticism and materialism. How
much we emphasize each zone in our writing tells us about ourselves. In Roy's case he has
very high upper zone letters, such as his "l ," "t," and capital
"J." This indicates a person who is idealistic and imaginative but who also
needs attention and recognition. His upward loops are very narrow and pointed at the top
indicating an analytical thinker who feels he marches to a different drummer. His lower
loops as in his "Y" are also long and narrow sometimes actually retracing the
downward stroke on the upward one. This indicates a person who avoids close contact with
others to avoid being hurt. This person has difficulty opening up to people and in
trusting them. The long lower loop also indicates Roy has athletic ability, an
appreciation for material things and a strong sexual drive. He may also have a temper. His
writing shows him to be a very creative person who has a personal code of ethics. He is
cooperative, flexible and can adjust to situations that arouse feelings. He has a
willingness to experience emotion and has a healthy spontaneity. The right slant of his
writing shows a person who goes with the flow. He has short upward turned endings to his
words showing a person who is ambitious, has high moral standards and wants to do good
work.
Now to the signature: a person's signature shows how that person wants to be perceived by
the world. If the signature is unreadable while the rest of his writing is readable that
indicates the person wishes to distance himself from the world. He does not want people to
know him that well. He wants to keep his public and private life separate. Look at Roy's
signature. The only letter that's readable is the "R." When a person indicates
one letter over the others particularly the letter of his first name this shows a person
who wants to get by on his own merits. Isn't dependant on the father (may even have
difficulty with the father) but wants to attract attention. The large size of this letter
and his other capital letters shows a person who seeks praise and recognition.
