Roy Dupuis' Souvenir
On the scent of the trail

Roy Dupuis was born to play Maurice Richard. In his incarnation for the big screen (playing in theatres since November. 25), Dupuis demonstrates a passion for his work that matches the Rocket's own — and the same penchant for taking the road less travelled. During a trip to Turkey, the Quebec actor ventured into an ancient village of cave dwellers, a subterranean network carved out of rock. "After wandering around for 20 minutes with someone I barely knew as my guide, I realised I was lost in a maze." Imagine his panic when the man, whose flashlight had burnt out, admitted he had no clue how to get out. Let's just say that Dupuis was never happier to see the light at the end of the tunnel than when the prankster finally led him to the exit. The star of Nikita brought home a heady reminder of his brush with fate: a bottle of fragrance used by Turks to scent their hands after eating. Just the thing to create lasting memories.
