Maxine's Photos

Maxine (see first picture) describes the trip thus: "We climbed mountains through very dense old forest, scaled up and down huge boulders and cliffs in slippery neoprene boots, carrying heavy loads, and rafted through level 3, 4 and 5 rapids--all in rain and cold."  She doesn't even mention the biting insects!  Hats off to her for stoicism above and beyond ...
