"Ex-biker Ross Desbiens and his spouse"

Biker Race

Having successfully dealt with the subject of organised crime in Omertà, screenwriter Luc Dionne picks it up again in The Last Chapter, a six-hour miniseries.

Bob Durrelle (Michael Ironside), a very influential member of a biker gang, is responsible for starting a number of chapters in Ontario, the only area not yet ruled by the Triple Sixers. To do this, Durelle needs the help of Ross Desbiens (Roy Dupuis), who has, however, given up biking. The best of friends up until then, Durelle and Desbiens have trouble maintaining their amicable relationship. "They try to carry out the change as carefully and peacefully as possible, but it causes friction amongst the existing biker groups. Desbiens tries to limit the damage, but everything soon goes downhill," says Luc Dionne.

The series marks the screen reunion of Marina Orsini and Roy Dupuis, the legendary couple in the Filles de Caleb. Marina plays Durrelle’s wife, and Céline Bonnier the wife of Desbiens.
