The title says it all - Video Sources.  Since we first started compiling this data for the previous version of this website in 1998, the world has moved on.  In the post-Nikita era Roy has produced an outstanding number of films, most of them far superior to those he made in the early days.  They are routinely released shortly after their theatrical run on region 1 or region-free DVD, and generally with English subtitles.  They are generally stocked by www.amazon.ca, although stocks can run out.  When they are no longer available, you can often find them on www.ebay.com.  Unless you live in Quebec, don't expect to find them in your local Blockbuster or screening at the nearest multiplex, and you won't be disappointed.

The rest of this page is retained for historical curiosity only - with time it's increasingly unlikely that these sources will deliver the older material.  If any vintage stuff is rereleased on DVD, we shall post the information on the Message Board.  There is also a Classifieds forum where you can trade (you need to be a registered member to do this).

Acquiring copies of Roy's films has not been the easiest of tasks - it's not quite as simple as popping into the local HMV. Many of the videos are not available in local stores outside Canada - so online is the best option. The majority of these videos are in NTSC format (used in North America and Japan), so if you live in a country that uses PAL (basically the rest of the world!), check out section 3 ... or invest in a VCR that has an NTSC playback facility.

Sadly Amuzeme are no longer trading [for full details see Simons message], however all is not lost Linda, Lynne & Simon will be still be able to help you out if you visit www.infrench.com
