| In Michael's Absence
|
Although Roy Dupuis name is absent from the credits in #501 504, Michaels character haunts the storyline. As Nikita bullies and manipulates her way down the road that eventually leads to her real fathers door, she convinces herself that its Michael who is leaving her clues. (It isnt.) For a moment theres even a suggestion that he is the sibling with the initial M. (Again, fortunately not!) The undoubtedly impressive Marco OBrien has replaced Michael in status and now occupies his office but, as Operations would say, for a worthy Michael substitute "impressive wont cut it". Operations and Quinn guess that Nikita engineered Michaels escape after his abeyance mission, and are anxious to prove this so they can discredit her with whoever is Mr Jones that day. So for four episodes Michaels memory is kept very much alive, although Roy has the good sense not to have any part of it. |
| Michael Moments | Unfortunately not a glimpse, except for a few flashbacks |
| Words of Wisdom | "The most remarkable field
operative weve had here in the last 10 years. His record was spectacular, so
impressive wont cut it." Operations "A quiet man but dangerous." retirement home caretaker "Michael will never turn his back on Nikita. Thats his weakness." - Operations |
