Michael's POV

Onscreen:
12 minutes

Nikita has been given a psychosis-inducing drug to ensure that she is admitted to the Zurich mental institution that houses David French, whose mother has developed a deadly anthrax-type toxin. When Michael speaks to her through her comms unit, she thinks she’s hearing voices in her head. Drugged and destabilised, Nikita is in danger of compromising the mission, so Michael poses as her stepbrother to extract her. Just as they are about to leave, Michael is told to abort the extraction and has to watch her being dragged back screaming. Nikita eventually supplies enough intel to identify the time and place of the toxin sale, and Michael provides tactical for the mission.
Michael Moments Stepbrother Michael resplendent in pale grey, explaining the family pharmaceutical business.
The pain of watching Nikita being dragged back into the asylum.
Words of Wisdom "The mission, Nikita. Remember the mission."
"My sister is um ….she’s an addict."
Performance Rating
Introducing ‘Stepbrother Michael’, the last character part ever that Michael has to play. Laurie Drew gives him a very nice grey suit and Roy gives him crinkly little furrows of concern to wear on his brow. But it’s level 5 Operative Michael who obeys Operation’s orders, and Michael the man and lover who watches in despair as those orders take effect. Roy slips effortlessly from one Michael nuance to another after four years of living in his skin.
