| Michael's POV Onscreen:
16 minutes |
Michael and Nikita are given an
assignment to develop new manpower for Section 8 to replace operatives wiped out by
Crystal Sky. The rookies are very young, bright, cocky and quite a handful, having none of
the discipline of Section, but are on an accelerated training schedule. Nikita is fed up,
Michael seems to appreciate the compensations for playing Mom and Pop to the squabbling
brood. Very soon they are sent off on what they think is an intelligence gathering
mission, unaware that they are being used as bait to draw out Crystal Sky. As they descend
the slope beneath a bridge Michael realises its a trap and tries to cover the kids
while the opposition attacks in force. Nikita and an injured Michael are taken hostage,
but Operations wont trade and they await death by gassing. At the very last moment
they are rescued by their young team who have regrouped of their own accord, and they all
return to an unrepentant Operations. |

Quite a nice bag of goodies
tucked up inside this essentially teen adventure theme. A bumper bundle of tasty morsels
from Roys Michael repertoire such as mission gear, running and shooting, slo-mo
walking, compassion (for the kids), HR stuff (in the gas chamber), the cruel-but-funny
Darwin thump, snowflakes, and a new fantasy for those that like that sort of thing, the
foot massage. Mustnt grumble! |
