Michael's POV

Onscreen:
11 minutes

Nikita is sent undercover to a brothel where she is forced to take part in fights, girl against girl, for the pleasure of rich men. Michael is also undercover, posing as one of these rich men, and pretends to choose her for sex in order to exchange intel. The mission profile has her early escape arranged, but Nikita refuses to leave, believing that she can help the other women. Michael has to endure watching Nikita fight to the death whilst he waits for his target to appear. Holding on long enough to ensure that she doesn’t lose her fight, he rushes off to complete the mission, before returning to Nikita’s aid.
Michael Moments Michael pretending to be European, and dressed in classy shirt and tie at the "entertainment" complex
The look of pure lust with which one of the entertainment girls views Michael as he prepares to select his companion. (Was she an undercover Royette?!)
The smile crossing Michael’s face when he receives the shock device with which to control Nikita
When racing to carry out the assassination of his target, Michael takes out a guard with a leg kick to the head – M. LeDeaux’s mother must have been a can-can dancer!
Words of Wisdom "Am I not permitted to select a woman to accompany me?"
"Send someone for the girl. I’m finished with her."
Performance Rating
A ‘Nikita’ episode where yet again our favourite spygirl gets the chance to moralise and remind Michael she is a caring individual. Roy revives Michael’s familiar weariness with her inability to ‘just do the job’ (culminating in his dismissal of Nikita’s company for the night), and shows that he’s more than a little hurt when she petulantly assumes he’s going to let her go, only to be hunted down. Later though we sense that Michael might be prepared to compromise the entire mission to ensure that Nikita isn’t killed. M. LeDeaux is probably Michael’s most unsavoury alter ego, so he gives him a rather sleazy smile and a strangely unpleasant, oily accent. Though identical in appearance, he transforms back into infinitely more attractive, true-blue Mickey when he and Nikita are alone. The blonde’s episode, but Roy went down fighting.
