Performance Rating
Following directly after Not Was is another high profile episode for Roy, with lots of action (of both the amorous and aggressive kind), not to mention second helpings of upper torso (this time framed in the most delectable shirt of all five seasons). A cracking storyline which demonstrates how well Roy’s characterization can cope convincingly with Michael at his most ruthless (you almost feel sorry for tiresome Lisa as she is duped and drugged), as well as being compassionate in his own way (his calm measured approach to the problem of how to free her from Fanning is in contrast to Nikita’s rage and wanting to run Lisa’s life, similar to Fanning’s own approach to his wife). A faultless performance in an exacting episode, ably abetted by Messrs. Cochran, Cassar, and Ms Drew.
