In this first episode filmed,
we see instant chemistry between Roy and Peta which successfully transfers to the screen
between Michael and Nikita. Roys role as Peter is out of character for the normally
cold operative, Michael, and Roy hasnt yet put his personal, trademark
"minimalist" mark on the character of Michael. In this first (of several)
missions where Michael and Nikita are forced to play a married couple, Michael has not yet
realized how strong his feelings are for Nikita. He seems to play his role easier here
than he does in future episodes where his physical desire for Nikita wars with his need to
protect her emotions. |
