Michael's POV

Onscreen:
21 minutes

Nikita is assigned to get close to Alec Chandler in order steal his data files. Michael has to deal with his own emotions as he becomes jealous when Nikita begins to develop real feelings for the money launderer. In a rare moment for Michael, he offers Nikita a real apology as he attempts to let her know that he doesn’t always like the actions he has to take, but his job doesn’t leave him a choice.
Michael Moments The smile of approval on his face as Nikita’s cell phone rings with a call from Alec Chandler.
Pacing in Section, rubbing his chin, sighing deeply as he listens to Nikita and Chandler’s date on the boat.
Staggering "drunkenly" on Chandler’s boat
Jumping into the truck to drive the children to safety.
Walking straight toward Nikita, until her gun is aimed directly at his neck.
Words of Wisdom "You don’t have to like the job, you just have to do it."
"If I were an enemy, you’d be dead by now."
"Get rid of the cat."
"I’m giving you guys 20 minutes to cut that out."
"I do what I have to do…..we all do. It’s not what I would choose for myself…or…for us."
Performance Rating
Roy gives us brief glimpses into Michael ‘the man’ as he lets occasional moments of jealousy show through his hard, Section-operative, veneer. We get to see sides of Michael not seen in many episodes where he shows concern for the children by rushing to drive the truck away from the fire, as well as a very rare comedic side as he plays a staggering drunk looking for a bathroom.
