"The Legacy" is the story of the Galarneau family. Xavier Galarneau, a farmer, is harsh and strict, and very passionate about horses. He lives in the village of Trois-Pistoles with his sons Junior and Miville, and his daughter Julie. Xavier hates Miville, and even though he is the eldest, he never wanted him to inherit his land. No-one really understands Xavier, except his daughter Myriam who lives in Montreal. Myriam and her father share a terrible secret, Myriam's son who lives in hiding in Montreal. Xavier is the father, conceived when Myriam was only 14 years old.

Gilles Pelletier plays Xavier, and Nathalie Gascon is Myriam.

In this episode Myriam is giving Roy’s character, M. Leduc, the sack from his temporary office job.
