On Set - Un été sans point ni coup sûr (A No-Hit No-Run Summer)

"My character has a very reserved side, but is also very authoritarian, even military, so that required me to hold back a bit.  I also did this on the set with the kids – I played around with them less than normal in order to maintain this distance that is needed between a coach and his players.  Sociologically speaking Turcotte represents this results-based competitive aspect that’s growing more and more and which is now at the level we know today where the human side has been removed."

Hit the ball ......

"Gilbert Turcotte reminds me of a maths teacher I had for three years, mixed up with an old hockey coach.  He’s perfect.  That makes him the dullest character I’ve played so far."
