Spring 2004 marks the 10th anniversary of
Céline Bonnier and Roy Dupuis meeting on the set of Million Dollar
Babies. Céline is above all her own woman with an independent spirit,
an acclaimed talent, and a highly successful career. In respecting the
couple’s reluctance to publicise their relationship,
RDO has so far resisted formally publishing
information about Céline. Since the Millennium, however, they have worked
together on several of the same projects and have been reported in the
Quebec press as supporting the same political causes. Céline even
acknowledged their personal as well as professional partnership in her
acceptance speech on winning a Gémeaux award for Le Dernier Chapitre
in 2002. We have therefore taken this as an indication that it is at last
acceptable to establish an information centre about Céline, allied to a
Roy Dupuis site, to acknowledge both her body of work and her undoubted
influence on Roy over the past 10 years. April 2004 The information on this site is derived from all over the public domain, and organised here for ease of reference. As on the main site, RDO does not, and will not, publish rumours and speculations that do not appear to be sanctioned by either Roy or Céline themselves. We have tried to piece
together as accurately as possible a cohesive career history from diverse,
incomplete and sometimes contradictory sources. Dates of films may be out
by a year and there are likely to be errors and omissions, particularly in
